Supply Chain Network

Linking your business to supply chain opportunities and supporting business growth

The Supply Chain Network has been created to raise the aspirations of SMEs in the region by helping them to identify supply chain opportunities and ensure that they are well-equipped and supported to put them in the best position to secure them.

Supply chains are often complex, with key variations in terms of language, particular considerations and requirements according to sector. The Supply Chain Network provides businesses with information updates, and access to specialist advice that will help support their growth and development.

We understand that companies are looking for quality, value for money and choice when it comes to development and investment opportunities. The Supply Chain Network holds information regarding key developments, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers and supply chain requirements in a central, independent, ‘living’ resource. This allows regional suppliers — as well as investors and developers — to identify and pursue strong commercial partnerships.

Join the Supplier Directory

The Supply Chain Network is committed to keeping funding and investment within our region to support its continued growth and investment.

We work closely with businesses throughout the region to support them in accessing opportunities and winning work that has a demonstrable, positive impact on their bottom line.

Businesses can join the Supplier Directory, which has been built to promote the region’s suppliers, products and services to encourage regional supply chain development. The directory gives access to a list of suppliers for future projects, supporting the growth of local businesses and the regional economy.

The Supply Chain Network is able to identify potential barriers by providing businesses with access to:

• The latest information through news round-ups from a range of sectors and email alerts

• An independent review with 1-2-1 tailored support to offer a diagnostic report on your company

• Specialist consultancy advice, offering knowledge of supply chains, sectors and industries

• Workshops and events programmes to build on specialist knowledge bases and support delivery against tender expectations

• Grants and financial assistance to support supply chain growth
