Latest updates regarding COVID-19

Given the unprecedented COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, we have decided to postpone all #GrowMySME events and workshops, including the Digital Catalyst launch planned for 25th March.

The health and safety of our teams and businesses they come into contact with is our number one priority and we do not want to put anyone at unnecessary risk.

We remain focused on developing solutions to help support our business community and we understand that these are uncertain times for everyone and no one knows how long this outbreak will last.

Whilst we have taken actions to reduce the need for our advisors and staff to come into the office, via remote working, we would like to offer you assurance that your Growth Hub advisory and support will continue during this difficult time, with all 1-2-1 support now being provided via telephone, email or online. For anybody with a scheduled in-person appointment, your advisor will be in contact with you to rearrange the meeting via your preferred communications channel.

Our current hope is to recommence in-person delivery of all  programmes as soon as practicable. However, we understand that these are uncertain times and that no one knows how long this unprecedented outbreak will last.

We would like to offer you assurance that the #GrowMySME Programme will continue to operate and provide the urgent support that businesses need during this difficult time – albeit remotely.

Over the past weeks, we have already successfully trialed online delivery of our Sales & Marketing Advisory Support 1-to-1 Clinics and these can now be undertaken via skype and other online channels at your preference. We are moving forwards to accelerate our plans to host workshops and masterclasses online via webinar format – please check the website for more information over the coming days.

Support available

This programme can fund 40% of eligible costs to enable businesses to facilitate working from home, while the Growth Hub’s business advisors will also be on hand to provide support through telephone consultations. #GrowMySME will also deliver online workshops on issues related to business resilience, cashflow management, and home working methods.

Grant To help with working from home from the ICT for Growth Scheme
Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis we are making some changes to the grants available through the ICT for Growth Scheme. The aim is to support SMEs to purchase essential hardware, software and security to facilitate remote working. Grants to cover 40% of the cost of proposals totaling £2,500 to £25,000.
